Sherry and JC |
| The Huntsville location stayed in operation until 2000. JC closed this location so he could enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle and focus more on design and creating jewelry. The original Scottsboro location is still operating in the same “brick and mortar” location it has always enjoyed. |

JC graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked twenty years as an engineer for General Electric, Alcoa and Revere Copper and Brass.
JC loves art and working with his hands. He painted with oils for 15 years when he made his first piece of jewelry – a silver and turquoise pendant. Nearly 35 years later, JC still uses his talents to design and create unique pieces of jewelry.
Initially, JC sold his jewelry at weekend arts and craft shows throughout Alabama and Tennessee. When the first store opened in 1976, JC’s wife Anne managed the store during the day while JC continued his job as an engineer. JC did the jewelry repair and design at night and on weekends.
JC‘s style of jewelry design is very diverse and unique. Some jewelry is created by wax model carving and casting. Other items are created by fabrication. Most final products involve using a combination of the two processes (methods). In some instances JC will engrave on the metal or carve on gemstones to create to a piece. Antique jewelry is sometimes combined with his designs. JC will use whatever tools he needs to transform his inspirations to reality.
Another hobby and form of art JC participates in is competitive ballroom dance. He and Anne have competed in numerous major competitions in the U.S.

Sherry grew up in her family’s jewelry store. She has more than 25 years of retail jewelry experience. She served on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Jewelers Association for five years.
Sherry graduated in 1982 from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Santa Monica, California as a Graduate Gemologist and attended the GIA Jewelry Repair School. Along with JC, Sherry helped open the Huntsville store location. She acted as Store Manager. Sherry acquired knowledge not only in jewelry, but also in bridal gifts, appraisal services, and repair services.
Sherry has a degree in Business Management from Athens State College. Sherry is presently co-owner and manager of the web site operation. When you call or email off the web site you will be contacting Sherry.
